Martin Gilliard’s career has been built at the intersection of data, technology and media. Currently, Head of Industry, Retail Superstores & Groceries at Facebook, Martin has driven the company’s development of data products for the retail vertical. This pursuit of innovation has propelled Martin throughout his career including stints as the Chief Information Officer at Barneys New York where he ran all the infrastructure and e-Commerce business. Also WPP Group’s Media Innovation Group, where as Vice President of Platform Services, he was a key member of the team that developed the company’s platform that launched the industry’s first digital advertising trading desk, the precursor to Xaxis.
